How it Works
Setting up an Employer
The first step is for the broker to set up the employer. Employers are assigned to specific brokers and service reps who will later manage the account. Once the employer is set up, the system will send the HR person at the group a welcome email. The welcome email will contain an introduction to FormFire as well as all instructions necessary for the group to get up and running.
At this point, the broker can simply sit back and wait for the group to complete their enrollment.
Creating Employee AccountsIncluded in the HR welcome email are welcome letters for the employees which contain instructions on how to create accounts.
Employees are guided through the dynamic Employee Interview and Medical Health Questionnaire, ensuring all relevant data is collected for every carrier.
At the end of the interview, the employee can electronically sign his or her application.
Monitoring the Group
Throughout the enrollment process, both the employer and broker and service rep assigned to the group can monitor the enrollment. However, the HR person can not view any protected health information (PHI).
Sending Data
Once each employee has completed their medical enrollment, the broker is now free to send the data to as many carriers as desired. This is a simple as selecting the group and carriers. FormFire will ensure the proper data is sent in the desired manner.
Renewals
Renewals are even easier. At renewal time, the broker need only send a welcome back letter. Then each employee performs a quick update to their account, and the data can be sent to the carriers. Often times, renewals can be accomplished in a matter of days, not weeks.
